Dani Johnson has been chosen to be featured on the TV Show, ‘Secret Millionaire’ on ABC, airing Sunday March 6th.
ABC has put up a new trailer for the show, which features a clip of Dani on the show. It’s called “A Search for Real Life Heroes”. Also featured in this trailer is John Ferber (co-founder of Advertising.com and Domain Holdings), James Malinchak, Ali Brown, and Diane & Gary Heavin. Each millionaire that is on the show will be featured with thier own episode starting March 6th, 2011.

On my FB, i have posted a quote that sums up my hope in the journey of my life and that is when I touch ppls lives, I want to leave His fingerprints behind. Dani seems to share that same hope. Her heart is compassionate and her desire is anonimity for the strict unadulterated purpose of giving God the glory. A friend of mine had accompanied me to a dr appointment and as we sat in my car, we talked about wanting to be involved in lives of those who have needs that go overlooked by society. It wans’t a few minutes later, we saw this tiny little lady trieing to walk from one side of that bldg to the other but had met a great challenge in just assessing a curb. She was aparently afraid of falling, something that could impact her immediate and future health. Though I myself was in alot of pain, to see that struggle, I ran over to help her. When we push past our own pain to help ease another’s, wonderful things happen. We can both get healing. A healthy admin could’ve walked the paperwork over to the next bldg, but NO, that’d take some heartfelt thought and a few minutes of time. My friend had just said we should pray that God show us what to do! About a half hour later, yet another senior citizen was sitting outside that same bldg, in real cold temps, just waiting for her bus to take her home. She was wondering where it was, sure she’d been forgotten. My friend just stopped to see if she was ok when she relayed her confusion. As i saw my friend sit down next to her, I got the small blanket in the backseat then went to join them. It was so cold we couldn’t just let her sit out there, so what could we do? We gave her a ride home and spent about an hour with her. It’s ashame that society, instead of helping the ppl who built this nation, puts out an air of fear on these precious ppl…we knew God went before us because He allowed us to take her home. Small deeds to us, but great in filling a need. What I learned that day is that no matter my pain, someone else is dealing with something more serious and that i live comfortabley warm while others are cold. I can be a small part of something huge or a huge part of something teeny. I can do deeds for the glory of self or I can do them in the name of the Lord. I can make a diff, by being the diff.
