Prior to meeting Dani Johnson, I was $116,000 in debt, I was working 50-60 hours a week, our household income was $25,000/year and I was the sole income provider for our family. I got started in my own business, but didn't know what to do, I didn't have the training I needed to succeed and I had made no money. After Dani's First Steps To Success training, I made $13,000 my very first month, and so far this year, I quit my full-time job, my business is my full-time job, and I've actually made a little over $135,000 in less than a year!

The day before the call I was totally overwhelmed. As a new mom of a 4-month old and a new military wife whose husband is currently on an assignment, I was stressed out and discouraged. This call helped me change my focus and start to brainstorm some strategies. I’m still in a challenging time but I am encouraged. Thanks!

That was quite a good topic to remind me of attitudes I have to develop and things I have to do. It is my first time to hear you talk and it is worth the time I invested on it. This was an amaing topic and came at the absolute perfect time for me. I up to this pint was focusing on what was NOT happening in my business, and why my business partners were not building their businesses, and did not know what to do. This talk really woke me up. I listened to a call about time management a few weeks back. You say to put God on your calendar, and it should be top priority. You suggested first thing in the morning. I immediately said, “I CAN’T spend time with God first thing in the morning. I DON’T WANT to wake up at 5am. I DON’T HAVE any time.” I didn’t catch it when I listened to this call on Focus the first time, but I typed up my notes for a friend and it just hit me! I’m focusing on how I CAN’T find time with God instead of how I CAN! So now my 3 yr old, my 11mo old, and I sing praise songs and read a Bible story TOGETHER in the morning! It’s not the same as alone time with God, but it’s WAY better than the grumpy resentful pity party I was having every morning. Thank you so much!

This was exactly what I needed to hear tonight. I recently started a new business and lack of focus was a big problem. I will use what I learned and be focused as each day comes. I will hone my skills and help others. I am the person I want to be and I have what I need to succeed. I am responsible for my financial situation and its improvement is up to ME. No more excuses. I have been unemployed for over a year, and have been trying to build a home based business. I know that I am easily distracted, and this call has reminded me of the steps I need to take to get myself back on track.
