The promise of a New Year is just a few hours away, along with all the predictions and resolutions everyone seems to be making for 2014.

Financial experts forecast the market will be up… or down, depending on who’s talking and which direction the wind might be blowing. Techno geniuses tell of the latest and greatest gadgets to make our lives easier and more connected… or to take our self-involvement or personal isolation to a whole new level.

Scientists and entertainers, spiritual leaders and politicians all seem to step up on their soapboxes around this time of year to make their annual prophecies for the year to come.

Depending upon your particular set of beliefs, your outlook for 2014 could be coming from any number of sources… from the Chinese calendar rotation landing on the “Year Of The Horse,” to biblical signs linked to the “Four Blood Moons” forecast over the next 18 months beginning in April of 2014.

However, as we prepare for a brand New Year – along with all those promises of change, improvement, growth or whatever else may be on your personal agenda, I would like to propose something I know will benefit you… as well as those in your circle of influence. Let’s make 2014 the “Year Of Love!” Learn to love yourself; love those who surround you at home, at work and in your community; let go of past hurts and wrongs brought upon you by others and adopt an attitude of forgiveness and relief.

And, most importantly, I would urge you to find love for God. With this love dwelling in your heart and radiating out into the world from your life, I can guarantee you, you will gain a new perspective on situations, on people and on your personal road to success. Let’s start our own “resolution revolution” and together you and I can share this message of love. Who knows, as we each touch lives, it could become catching… and lead heaven only knows where!
