Your Journey To Become Debt-Free
Have you ever felt like you and your spouse just aren’t on the same page? The reality is, you and your spouse won’t always be on the same page. But you’re still on the same team. Especially when it comes to money!

Can you believe tomorrow is March 1st??? The first 2 months of this year have flown by so fast. Whether this has been the beginning of your best year ever, or it has been not so good, what I’m about to share with you is going to propel you forward and help you get on a fast track to having your greatest year yet.
See, if you’re like most people, you started the new year strong and refreshed. You may have set some goals for 2013, and you may have even written them down. But the reality is, life happens. We get busy and so often we are so wrapped up in the here and now that we forget what we set out to accomplish this year. And then before we know it, it’s the end of the year, and we are no closer to reaching our goals than we were back in January.
This is the year for that all to change. 2013 is going to be the year when you will accomplish those things you’ve been putting off for the last few years. You will make more money, annihilate your debt, have more fun, improve your health, restore your relationships, and begin to live a life that makes the people around you stop and say, "HOW did they do it???"
Yes, this is that year! It will be unlike any year you’ve ever experienced before. But in order for that to happen, you’re going to have to do things a little differently than you’ve ever done before.
A no-hype, straightforward approach to all-around success
Inside of you, there is potential for success that is greater than anything you’ve ever even imagined. But there are some things in life that may cause you to overlook that potential and settle for a mediocre life. But you were designed for success! It’s time to realize your full potential and live the life of success you were meant to live. Here’s how.
I know most people only talk about goals in January. That’s actually part of the reason I want to talk about that with you today. Just look around you, and you’ll see why! According to some studies, less than 1 in 4 people will stick to their New Year’s Resolutions. In fact, most people actually give up on their goals within the first 9 days!
So you know what you and I are going to do? We are going to look at what everyone else is doing and do the opposite! And our results are going to be so different than everyone else’s.
Right now I want you to pull out your list of goals that you set back in January. We are going to evaluate where you are and how you’re doing on your goals so far. (If you never got around to setting any goals for the year, don’t worry! It’s not too late to set some now.)
What have you accomplished so far this year? Celebrate those accomplishments! If you have a goal to lose 50 pounds, and you’ve lost 8, celebrate those 8 pounds. If you have a goal to pay off $10,000 of debt and you’ve paid off $1,500, celebrate that $1,500. If you do not celebrate your progress, you will get burned out, lose motivation, and you will not achieve your goal. So take the time to recognize and celebrate your progress!
Next, look at what is still on your list that you must accomplish before this year is over. You still have 10 months left to make it happen. Even if you’ve already given up on your goals, it’s really important to stop and reevaluate. Think about why you set that goal in the first place. Remember why it’s important to you to accomplish that goal. That vision and desire that was inside of you when you first set the goal will spark your motivation and cause you to persist even when you feel like quitting.
As you are working towards your goals, it is important to remember the Law of Vision. If you do not know what you want, you will never get it. Did you catch that? If you do not know what you want, you will never get it. You must choose to live your life by design, according to your vision, your dreams, and your goals. If you don’t, you will find yourself at the end of another year in the same place – or worse off – than you started.
So keep your eyes on the prize! Keep your vision right in front of you to remind you of where you’re headed. Post these reminders on your bathroom mirror, on the background of your phone, in your car, on the refrigerator, on your desk at work, on your walls. This helps to keep your goal right in front of you, and it encourages and motivates you.
Take continuous action towards your goals. What action can you take today that will get you closer to where you want to be tomorrow? GO DO IT! We are only 2 months into the year… You have PLENTY of time to take action and get results!
There will be distractions – everything from the people around you to your work to your own feelings – but you must keep going! You must persist!
I am so excited for you, because I know you are going to go further and achieve more than you ever thought you could! I can’t wait to watch that happen.
Remember earlier in this post when I told you that most people have already given up on their New Year’s Resolutions for this year? Well, those people are all around you… They may be in your home, your office, your church, your school, or your community. Whether they realize it or not, they don’t want to finish this year the same way they started – they all want to accomplish something. Many of them just don’t know how to get back on track.
That’s where you and I come in. We have this information in our hands that could potentially change the course of a person’s life forever. It just wouldn’t be right to keep it to ourselves, don’t you think? I’m doing my best to get this message out there, and I’m hoping you’ll do the same. Go ahead and send to everyone you know. Thank you for being someone who cares about helping your family, friends, company, and community to succeed. I really appreciate you, and I can’t wait to talk with you again soon! Until next time, God bless!
In great faith,
