Have you noticed the huge leadership void in our world today? Evil has penetrated churches, governments, business, law enforcement, the media and even, schools.
“When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, but when a wicked man rules, people groan.” (Proverbs 29:2) Can’t you hear the people of this nation groaning? Wouldn’t you say our faith in those “higher-up” has been shattered?
We’re talking about this today, because you don’t have to admit defeat. Just because others have failed, does NOT mean all is lost! Don’t get depressed – get excited. This is an opportunity… your chance to rise.
My friend, this IS your time to rise. Maybe you’re afraid of failure, but the Bible tells us GOD will raise you up. If you stand for Him, with Him and listen to Him, HE will always lead you to victory. “When the Lord raised up judges for them, the Lord was with the judge and delivered them from the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for the Lord was moved to pity by their groaning because of those who oppressed and afflicted them.” (Judges 2:18)
If you stand for and with Him, He will stand with you. Each time Israel had a good and righteous leader, the people of Israel were blessed. But, when they didn’t, they flopped around like a fish-out-of-water.
In the Book of Judges, we find one stellar example, Ehud. Israel was oppressed by Moab for 18 years – crying out, groaning. With the Spirit of YHVH on him, Ehud grew to be a bold, strategic leader. “He said to them, ‘Pursue them, for the Lord has given your enemies the Moabites into your hands.’ So they went down after him and seized the fords of the Jordan opposite Moab, and did not allow anyone to cross. They struck down at that time about ten thousand Moabites, all robust and valiant men; and no one escaped. So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land was undisturbed for eighty years.” (Judges 3:28-30)
Because ONE MAN stepped up, he delivered Israel from 18 years of suffering. ALL things are possible with His Spirit upon you. No battle is too great, no adversary too big – or too small. And that includes MasterCard, VISA, your mortgage, your health, weight, business wars, relationship battles.
Don’t worry about how big the battle is, how weak other people are or if other people don’t listen to you. With His Spirit upon you, if you listen to Him, you will win. Step out and follow what the Spirit does and says. What battles are you trying to fight alone right now… and what is your new plan, moving forward? Let me know in the comments below.
