Do Subscription Services Save Us Money? Or Steal It?
One of the most successful business models in the last few years has been the subscription service. Billions upon billions of dollars are spent on streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, business-to-consumer subscription boxes like Blue Apron, Dollar Shave Club and Stitch Fix, and service subscriptions straight from our Smartphones like My Fitness Pal or Lifesum.
It seems like these things save us money, right? After all, Netflix is way cheaper than a whole cable package. But a few dollars here and a few dollars there can quickly add up to hundreds of dollars a month. So in this episode of The Dani Johnson Show, we’re digging into how to use subscriptions to save money, and when to cancel that monthly charge you never use.
In This Episode You Will Learn:
- Some smart ways to use subscription services that do actually save you money.
- The tricks these services use to make you think you’re getting a good deal, when in reality you’re losing money.
- Other places to put your money that will make it multiply instead of disappearing.
