I hope this week has been a really great one. I know that if you’ve been following DaniJohnson.com on social media, you are further ahead today than you were last week, and if you keep it up, you will continue to grow.

There is such a huge need in the world today for good, solid families. We need parents who will groom their children for success, because those children are the future of our world. And I believe that together, we can raise up a powerful and honorable generation of leaders.

There’s something I hear from parents all the time and it breaks my heart. See, I have clients all over the world who are successful entrepreneurs and employees who work in all kinds of different professions who have received promotions and raises and are succeeding wildly. But I also have clients who are stay-at-home parents, or even parents who work part-time, and something I hear all the time is, "I’m just a mom," or "I’m just a homemaker."

So many parents see parenting as less than other professions. But there’s something they don’t understand. Being a parent is entrepreneurial.

Here’s what I mean by that: Everything I do in business, I do at home. Everything from grooming my kids and teaching them people skills, spiritual laws, financial laws, conflict resolution, and teamwork – that’s all stuff I learned in business. I did not learn how to be a good mother from my mom. In fact, she was the example of what I did not want to be as a mother.

I’ve been in business for more than 2 decades, and I have started several successful companies. I have learned lots of very effective techniques and strategies that have led to the success of each of the companies I’ve started. The techniques I have taught my staff and sales force are the exact same techniques I have taught my children. Everything I learned in business – from sales to working with people to building a team – is what I use in my home to groom my kids for success.

So, if you are a parent, you’ve got to change your idea of how you see your position. You can limit yourself by saying, "I’m just a stay-at-home parent," or "I’m just a homemaker." But you actually have the most important job in the world!

Part of the reason the world is so messed up today is because mothers are not mothers and fathers are not fathers. And it’s because they don’t realize what is in front of them. They don’t realize their position of influence.

However, once you realize your position, you will begin to see your home differently. You will see how all of these business strategies you’ve been learning actually fit in perfectly with grooming your family for success in every area. You will no longer see yourself as "just a parent".

Why am I telling you this today? Because it’s time to come together and groom our children for success! It’s time to give them a firm foundation on which they can build a successful life, whether they choose to become an entrepreneur, an athlete, an employee, the CEO of a company, or a parent.

How many parents do you know that are trying their best to raise successful kids? How many families do you know who could benefit from something like this? Please go ahead and share this with them. Share this message with every parent, grandparent, and family you know. You could help a parent realize their position and their potential, and you could help them to set their kids up for future success in business, finances, and relationships!

In great faith,

P.S. As a parent, it’s our job to give our children the best possible start in life. But that doesn’t have to be difficult – not when there’s a simple, step-by-step guide to help you along the way.
