This was GREAT Dani. I loved that you kicked my butt again. You have taught me so much in that one one this morning in the closing class then to hear to talk about me again. I can remember when I was working at a large hospital I would put in for a job with the computer help desk. I’m already familiar with the basic concepts, but this training went way deeper and it was more detailed. I learned things that I never really knew or realized before!
One question that comes up for now: how do I grab a (company) decision maker’s attention from just reading my resume? Would a functional resume work in my situation? How do I tailor my resume to my advantage (and of course, to the company’s advantage as well)? I have a number of jobs from different industries/fields in my work experience and I want to give the impression that I’m not an unstable job hopper (especially that I want to try my hand at other interesting fields that I haven’t done before).

I am a one person office where I work (been here over 6 years). I do everything in the office and a lot of the time I’m by myself. We’ve had some major issues going on with our our office and the corporate office for quite some time now. This has really affected the overal morale of our division and my job performance. I’ve been really screwing up the past few weeks. I have a bad attitude about my job and have had an “I don’t really care” attitude. This webinare really spoke to me!
Now, I really do have a good job with great benefits and perks here. And, I have a great boss too. I honestly feel if I keep on in this manner, I will be fired. Even though I had already learned about employeepreneurship at First Steps to Success, I had really allowed my attitude to slip. Sometimes I thought, “But Dani doesn’t understand how things work at the company I work for.” It is time for me to enjoy what I am already doing, apply the principles Dani taught in Part 2 and help my company grow and achieve its goals. Day one of the Job Domination webinar was unlike anything else available for anyone looking for a job; Day Two was mind-blowing in the way it captured the perspective of the hiring manager and the boss. There was enough meat in those sessions to keep me studying and growing from now on – they could have charged ten times as much and it still would have been a good value. But Dani Johnson went beyond over-delivering this time (like she always does). Day Three was a practical, hands-on opportunity to dig deeper into the issues we face in the job market. Dani and team…thank you again for the wealth of information shared and discussed tonight. At first I didn’t have any specific question to ask. However as time went on I heard from one of the Hansen family members and suddenly I had a similar question about launching our music ministry and some of the challenges that we have been experiencing when we meet with potential music ministry family sponsors. I began seeing connections in the different aspects of networking whether it be for a job, promotion, increasing your influence or expanding your territory. Wow!!! I see how people skills and marketing skills go hand in hand. Thus, how you treat people in one area affects how you treat people in another. Thus, one must become a student of people in order to never be broke another day in one’s life. I listened to Job Domination and shared stories with people about my and my daughter’s experiences attending First Steps To Success. Yesterday I received 2 job offers and an urgent request to teach a business owner some of skills I’ve learned. I’m not even looking for a job! This is crazy!

Not sure if Dani will see this comment but I have a phone interview taking place in 2 weeks with 3 executive females all at once. My concern is how do you FORM when there are three people talking to you at once? Not to mention the fact that there also seems to be some “politics” amongst these three that I was warned about by a friend of mine who is also an executive at this company.
Also, my friend is actually at a higher level than any of these ladies and this is possibly just a ‘dog and pony show’ to make sure that everyone gives their stamp of approval…..So just trying to decide if FORMing is appropriate in this circumstance or if I should just answer their questions and get through it.

The first day of the webinar was very powerful. I learn new tools that will most likely get me ahead of others that are applying for jobs. The second day we received important information on how to be better employees, which appreciated. However, if I was to give constructive feedback, the info presented on the second day was incomplete at times. I realize that there was a lot to cover and I plan on listening to the webinar again. First of all thank you ,Dani and team , for the truly simple and practical information about skills needed to succeed in any field .
I just finished engineering (instrumentation) and was doing a course in automation .To complete this course ,I had a mock interview to attend . Long story short I finished the course ,got the certificate even though I didn’t achieve the required scores.The day before the interview ,i listened all day to the part 2 of the job domination webinar .The attitude about honoring ,which you emphasized in the second part 2 implemented in the interview and I reaped the fruit .I made mistakes in the interview ,but I tried my best to learn from the interviewer (took notes whenever possible and asked questions) .
I know i have to improve in certain areas but now I know how to approach a job interview (which really scared me earlier) , thanks to your awesome materials .
