Is The "Economy" Your Economic Scapegoat?
Millions of people across the nation are feeling the effects of the economy. But is there something you can do about it?
I’m going to touch on a risky subject here and talk about hope. A large percentage of you are frustrated to the point that you’ve lost hope. Some of you have no vision and you are afraid to have it. You can’t handle any more disappointment. I’m going to have a heart to heart talk with you that will help you to restore hope for your future.
Ask yourself this question, “What do I have to lose in hoping for a better future? What is the cost?” It is free. Know this much, if you stay in the position you’re in right now of no hope, circumstances that you don’t like, not having a promise for a better future, things are not going to get any better.
The only thing that is going to help you get better, number one, is putting your hope in God, knowing that you are not here by accident. Your circumstances are there to teach you something and equip you for something better. I promise you that if your hope is in The One above and not in man, you will not be made a fool, wisdom will prevail and you will rise up out of what you are going through right now to something much better.
In order to have hope, you must make the choice to believe in something that you cannot see. If you don’t, you are going to perish inside. No matter what the circumstances look like, you can’t stay there. If you just decide to hope that something can work out, that something will get better, that things will change, that you will change, then you are going to see the fruit of that hope.
Hope brings exhilaration. What doesn’t bring exhilaration is that passive, apathetic, ho-hum, it’s never gonna work attitude. That is never, ever going to help you succeed. Right now, many of you have lost hope or your hope is only so big. It’s only the size of what you can see. It’s not big enough for the unseen. Your hope needs to be bigger than what is seen.
As a person who has been in the trenches and gone through some really bad circumstances, I can relate to what you may be going through. Yes, I’ve been through hell but I decided not to pitch a tent there. I have hope in your future and you need to have it too.
