Are You Putting Your Money Where Your Mouth Is?
Do you wish you could pay off debt, wish you could afford that romantic getaway with your sweetie, travel more or help feed orphans? Maybe you just want to put money aside for your child’s education.
What do you think of when I say, “money”? Do you imagine all the things you could buy, places you could visit or maybe the idea of swimming in a pool of cash crossed your mind? You probably don’t immediately think about paying off your debt, putting away some savings or investing that money, right? Wonder why? Our media has convinced us, money is intended to be spent!
What would happen to your income if, for some reason, you were no longer able to work? Would you be in big trouble?
Not too many years ago, that was me. After making tons of money (and spending it all) during my first decade in business, I was diagnosed with a heart condition and told I could no longer work. There was nothing in our savings, we had $100K in credit card and car debt and a $700K home.
After all that work, and making all that money, our entire financial situation changed – overnight. Why? Because we were financial idiots!
Listen, the difference between people who have debt and live paycheck-to-paycheck, and those who are debt-free and building wealth, is not based on how much money they make. It has everything to do with their “money mindset!”
People who are debt-free have several things in common, and I want to share these important mindset distinctions with you:
YOU are the owner of your own finances – your own spending and your own choices! Even if you’re married, you got yourself into your current financial situation… now it’s time to get yourself out.
Don’t wait until you lose your job or circumstances change, letting desperation force you to change your money mindset. Stop thinking of money as clothes, cars and whatever else the media sold you. That isn’t wealth! That’s just a recipe for bondage, debt, stress and financial ruin.
What is your NEW vision for money? Tell me about it, on our social media pages!
In great faith

Failing to confront perceived offenses, just paves the way for MORE opportunities to find offense. Then – before you know it – the relationship is so toxic…EVERYTHING they do presents an opportunity for offense!
It’s SO easy to make excuses for not really getting anything done…procrastination might help for a while, but it does NOT move you forward or down the path to success. Only one thing beats procrastination – ACTION!
